try again. I've implemented rudimentary syncing of your todolist to the server. notice the text to the left of the login button, it says something like "saved" or "syncing". I need skinny's help on how this indicator works, but the idea is that the app will let you add items locally, but you need to login to store the items on the server.

hows this sound? The alternative is we could just say you must login to use the app. the code simply gets cleaner:

so is it more important to make the point that you can apply browserid in cases where the site just gets better if you're logged in, or should we simplify things by requiring login. /cc @skinny97214
