Currently, if I allow players to use the ruler, it will path them through fog of war, revealing unexplored walls. If there is some way to fix this it would be appreciated.

I am not the author of Drag Ruler so I cannot speak for them, but I would absolutely love to see Pathfinding Ruler functionality available to normal uses of Drag Ruler for the systems it supports.

Is there a way to have the toggle enabled by default, instead of disabled?

The icon is currently sorted at the bottom, would make more sense if it were second to the normal Ruler.

Foundry thinks the version is 0.7 when installed even though searching in Foundry for the package reports it as 0.8. Pretty sure the module.json version number just needs to be updated.

When this module is active, it appears to break the standard ruler/"Measure distance" tool. The only other module that was active was the FXMaster module.

Please update this module to the newer (stable) version of Foundry :-)
