Project stopped

Hello everybody,

Yesterday I installed FS17 patch 1.4. What I saw made me really sad. The AIVehicleUtil.getFruitArea does not work consistently anymore. I slept over it and decided to stop this project.

I even have an idea why Giants destroyed the AIVehicle specialization. It is because of the Kuhn DLC. It will be a lot of work to get a plough, a cultivator and a sowing machine working correct at the same tractor. And I do not want to do this anymore. I am tired.

Option for Disable Collision Check

Using FollowMe mod, sometimes the harvester gets stuck waiting for the follower to move. 99% of the time this can be avoided with proper distance settings. However, it would also be nice if the collision check option could be changed, since occasionally the harvester is blocked, but would not actually collide with the follower if it continued with its program.

Zudem ist es auch nicht möglich zwischen dem alternativen und normalem Helfer zu switchen, man kann den Helfer nur starten und hoffen, dass dieser im gewünschten Modus startet.

Courseplay

Hello

In FS2015 I used to use the autoconbine to mow the fields and the courseplay to unload the mowers and to carry the grain and it worked very well. I tried to do the same, but I came across a problem, the AIV does not release the tractor, after the threshing is based the tractor continues to walk next, the barrel closes but the tractor does not leave there, if I am on the tractor And the stop I do not have problems, being in the harvester I can send the tractor to the route and without problems being in another machine, when the reaper reaches the end of the line and has to turn, the game crashes, doing the same with the helpers of the Giants works no problem. Just a cosmetic one, but worth polishing out for final release:

Dismissing worker block vehicle

This happens both SP and MP, and as far as I remember happened also in AutoTractor in FS15.
After siting in vehicle and dismissing helper vehicle is blocked, so truing of and on of engine is required. There is no errors related to this, but this is rather low priority yet annoying.

Combine does not lower header...

I'm having a repeated problem with the Case Axial Flow harvester.. it will repeatetly forget to lower the header, and just drive over and destroy the crop after a turn..

Distance between combines

Hello Mogli

I have noticed that combines do not keep safe distance between themselves. For example, if combine A stop, combine B will come few meters behind and slightly turn left.

In FS15 autocombine mod there was option to set distance from vehicle in front of you. That allowed us to use more combines on the same field. Are you able to add this option?

Does not work with the 415 and 620 grimme and works poorly with a articulated tractor reach of articulated seeder

AIVehicleExtension (alle Versionen) funktioniert bei mir nur mit Schneidwerken bis 10,60m.
Bei breiteren SW dreht der Helfer nach links ab und bleibt außerhalb des Feldes stehen.
V 0.2.0.2:
Anklicken der Schaltfläche "normaler Helfer" ändert nicht die Schaltfläche zu "Auto".
Dies geschieht erst, nachdem der Helfer aktiviert wird.
Schneidwerksbreiten werden unten nicht mehr angezeigt.
Keine Änderung mit V 0.2.0.3.

Drescher/Traktoren fahren zu weit aus dem Feld

Hi,
mMn schiessen die Fahrzeuge zu weit ueber die Kante des Feldes:

Erstens gibts bei manchen, engeren Feldern Probleme und zweitens ist der Anschluss danach nicht sauber, jedenfalls bei diesem Gespann.

Beim Traktor z.B. beim Maehen ists aehnlich. Ausserdem passierts haeufig, dass wenn man irgendwo am Ende oder am Rand etwas stehen laesst, der Traktor auf einmal "abbiegt" um einen Rest zu maehen...hoffe ich hab mich einigermassen ausgedrueckt...kann auch mal ein vid machen.

edit: ich seh grad, dass das letzte auch bei Dreschern passiert. Er sollte ja eigentlich an der Kante weiterfahren, statt dessen, faehrt er geradeaus bzw. biegt ab und sucht das stehen gelassene:

V0.2.0.0 combine issue (detected on CR10.90 equipped flex45)

Version in sbj need each combine to set "reverse work mode" manually before, or the combine will drift outside the field. Maybe due previous point, the turning not work properly in any of 3 options (external rounds cause a 315° degree turn, heading the combine outside the field; back&turn cause the combine move back on a line without turn, this made the combine destroy the crop while turn moving forward, same the 3 movement turn)

Lifts implement in the middle of a straight course

I've noticed that while harvesting and fieldwork seems to work fine, seeding and fertilizing has some issues. Mainly that they will lift/turn off the implement in the middle of a straight course or when switching from seeded/fertilized ground to cultivated ground it won't turn on. It doesn't have any errors or warnings pop up in the log.

kleiner bug wenn man ohne gearBoxAddon spielt ,,,, wenn der helfer wendet oder wenden will , bleibt er einfach stehen (nicht immer) , scheint nicht genug power zu haben um den drescher vorwärts oder rückwärts zu bewegen

mit gearBoxAddon klappt alles soweit ohne probleme

Erweiterter Helfer BPG

Ich nutze sehr gerne den Erweiterter Helfer von BlackPantherGroup (Blacky)

In der AI Extension V3.0 war das noch kompatible wie beim Standarthelfer.
Jetzt nimmt er einfach irgendeinen Helfer der gerade frei ist.

Kann ich die V3.0 noch irgendwo downloaden oder lässt sich die Kompatibilität wieder herstellen?

Würde mich freuen wenn du mir helfen könntest

Claas Dominator 88s funzt nicht mit AI

Hallo Mogli,

ich setze auf meiner Map den Claas Dominator 88s als Mähdrescher ein. Weil das Originalschneidwerk des Dreschers nur 4,2 m hat habe ich mir das klappbare Geringhoff gekauft. Wenn ich dresche und das AI Hud mit Shift/5 starte, wird der Startbutton für den Helfer nicht angezeigt. Das Feld ist dunkelgrau und ohne Funktion. Hast Du eine Idee woran das liegen kann?

Drescher auf/zuklappen (Taste X) funktioniert nicht mehr nachdem AIVE Aktiviert war, leider habe ich keine log mehr! Jedoch als Info kann ich sagen das nur Standartfahrzeuge verwendet wurden

MP v0.3.1.3: Errors on clients side - tractor with front loader

Hi,

I got following errors counting (not excessive but added one by one) on client:
Error: Running LUA method 'update'. C:/.../mods/FS17_AIVehicleExtension/AutoSteeringEngine.lua:1090: bad argument #1 to 'pairs' (table expected, got nil)

when tabbing for the first time to tractor with front loader attached. Detaching and attaching front loader caused that errors where not appearing.

Machines involved:

  • FS17_valtraTSeriesCowEdition
  • stollFrontLoaderFZ60 (vanilla game)
  • FS17_BiobeltzManureFork (ModHUb)

We are also using manual attaching mod form ModHub, which can influence I suppose.

0.4.0.8: Probleme mit dem Grimme Tectron

Moin!

Erstmal vielen Dank, das es das AIVehicleExtension gibt, darauf habe ich gewartet!!!

Aktuell habe ich das Problem, das wenn ich im Grimme Tectron sitze und das AI-Menü über Umschalt-H aufrufe, nichts mehr passiert. Die Maus funktioniert dann nicht mehr oder nur halb, ich kann in den Feldern in der Mitte Werte verändern und das war es dann. Aus dem Menü komme ich nicht mehr zurück ins Spiel und muss es über den Taskmanager beenden.

Meine Logdatei habe ich mit beigefügt, da werd' ich sowieso nicht schlau draus...

Ansonsten funktioniert es (für mich) super, ch würde es vielleicht noch begrüssen, wenn der Drescher sein Abtankrohr bereits bei einem Füllstand von 80 oder 90% automatisch ausfahren würde und nicht erst, wenn man mit dem Schlepper direkt daneben steht. Das wäre klasse!

Diverse Problemchen

Beim Düngen schaltet sich der Helfer ab ohne erkennbaren Grund. So meldet es dann auch LS. Das Fahrzeug fährt dann einfach unkontrolliert weiter. Beim Wenden erkennt der Helfer keine Feldgrenzen oder bereits bearbeitete Flächen.
Der Button zum Wechseln, ob er einfach geradeaus fährt oder sich an irgendwelche Konturen orientiert (1. Zeile, 2. Button von rechts) ändert sich erst, wenn der Helfer aktiviert wird. Dabei setzt sich diese "Betriebsart" zurück, wenn der Helfer ohne erkennbaren Grund deaktiviert wird. Eine "Kreisfahrt" ist somit nicht wirklich möglich

Mogli12: first off THANK YOU for all your work on this! It makes combining so much better.

There is still an issue with the New Holland 10.90 combine with the 45 foot header. If you start the AutoCombine, it goes forward, then takes a 180 degree turn and stops.

Yes this is with the newest version, .09. Like someone said in a previous post, if you hit REVERSE and then turn on the Auto Combine, it works fine.

Combine, when AIVehicleExtension is activated the combine will turn to slight right then left to edge of crop, stop then reverse outside of field until the combine either hits an object or I deactivate the AI. Just to be sure there were no mod conflicts I removed all other mods except AIVehicleExtension, with same results. Thank You for all your hard work!

I really wish Giants would have left well enough alone as far as the hired workers go. To me FS-15 AI's worked great, with or without AutoCombine.

Hi! Erstmal ein grosses Danke das due das Script nach LS17 gebracht hast! Funktioniert schon sehr gut! Ich hab zur zeit nur das Problem das wenn ich mit Courseplay Häcksel das der Häcksler am ende nicht mehr wendet!

5 is used by the game itself, and ctrl-5 has been used by drive control for 17 since Nov.
Using right control as modifier would be much better.

AITractor läd im Spiel nicht

Ich hab das problem dass der Mod bei mir im Spiel nicht läd.
Log bringt mir diesen Fehler:

Hallo Mogli,

ich kann leider nur ohne Maus spielen. Zum Einstellen des Mods ist es kein Problem.
seitdem ich neuere Versionen versuche, bleibe ich im Ladebildschirm hängen, da ich Start nicht auswählen kann. Bei der Version v0.3.1.3 wurde Start immer direkt markiert, bei der aktuellen Version nicht mehr.
