skopos's Issues

Connection Inspector in VAB/Hangar (and others)

When you are in the VAB/Hangar (and presumably any other Space Center building that isn't the Tracking Station) the connection inspector menu simply shows every connection as disconnected, presumably because the background calculations are halted when entering a building since time is not passing.

In order to reduce confusion, I would suggest either disabling the menu in these buildings, or simply removing the enabled/disabled indication and simply showing the connection data rate/latency requirements.

Switching directly from flight to tracking station breaks connections

If you switch from a vessel in flight directly to the tracking station via the esc menu, Skopos will lose all connections and stop updating them. Leaving the tracking station will cause skopos to resume correctly tracking connections, and entering the tracking station via the space center screen causes no issues.

Skopos hides commnet connection lines when it shouldn't

As far as I have been able to tell, every time a new vessel is launched, all commnet lines in the map are hidden, although the connections still work. The "Show Network" button in the Skopos window must be turned on and then off again for non-telecom commnet connection lines to appear in the map again.

Contracts take an excessive amount of time to load in Mission Control

When a skopos contract is selected in mission control, it may not immediately load the contract details, and will instead display test test test or the description of whatever contract was previously selected.

Although I believe this has been occurring with most skopos contracts, it has become very noticeable with my most recent version of the beta, which has more complex contracts. In order for them to reliably load, they must be selected, then wait about 15-20 seconds, then deselected and selected again in order for the details to load. Accepting them before they are able to load doesn't seem to have any negative effects, however.

Antenna power and spectrum usage breakdown

This report raises some questions:

  • Who is using 60 MHz (Well, this connection is using 30, so who is using the other half? I don’t know the answer to that one, it may be a bug.)

  • Who is using 9.6 W? (The answer is the link to Murmansk, which is weaker.)

We should have an antenna usage inspector.

Nullref spam in sandbox mode

If an install with Skopos has a sandbox save created, Skopos will spam nullrefs in the log, presumably because sandbox games don't load career features that Skopos expects. I have not checked if science mode does the same thing.
