footsie-app's Issues

SEARCH PAGE: Build out Search Page UI based on 10/27/14 meeting

  • Search Page allows Current User to search for shoes based upon Shoe Type and/or Shoe Brand
  • Shoe Type is an input control with "typeahead" and searches exact match
  • Shoe Brand is an input control and searches "wildcard match" (e.g., "nike" would also return "nike air")
  • If Current User clicks Search Now button, the application navigates to the Search Results Page

GENERAL INFRASTRUCTURE: Add logixware blog entry on Intel XDK steps

Open Intel XDK (build 1878)
Click Start New Project
Select Yoga Positions* from Samples & Demos

OR
Click Start New Project
Blank
HTML5 + Cordova

Use "separate pages" and not "sub pages"?
Capitalize page names? (e.g., FirstPage not firstpage)
Manually update code to add back in shared headers and footers (does not work for sidebars)
Reference "assets" from website using URLs instead of including them in "app project"?
Use refresh button on both Develop-Design page (of Intel XDK0 and Emulate page

CONNECTION PAGE: Build out UI based on 10/27/14 meeting

  • Connection Page allows Current User to connect to User B
  • Connection Page comprises of the image and description of User B (see footsie_PROFILE_13.jpg for details)
  • If Current User clicks on "SAY HELLO" button, then the application opens Chat Page to enable Current User to communicate directly with User B

Build out Upload Page UI based on 10/27/14 meeting

  • Upload Page allows Current User to create a new "shoe record" by EITHER selecting an existing image from the device's camera roll OR by including a new image
  • The functionality will be similar to that provided by Instagram app's "middle button"
  • After Current User has "selected or included an image", he can input a "Shoe Type" and/or a "Shoe Brand"

"Inconsistent browser scroll" on Profile page

I am guessing that this is somehow related to the combination of "responsive classes" that we are using (both AdminLTE and "native" Bootstrap). Right now, on desktop Chrome browser, if I resize the browser window to ~2/3 size of my monitor, I cannot scroll beyond halfway past the Description field. I can then maximize the browser window and I "see everything". The browser scrolling also "misbehaves" in iPhone/iPad emulation modes on this page.

Build out Activity Page UI based on 10/27/14 meeting

  • Activity Page allows Current User to see a list where each row represents either a "match" or "solemate"
  • A "match" is where the Current User has liked any shoe of User B AND User B has liked any shoe of Current User
  • A "solemate" is where the Current User has had 3 different shoes liked by User B
  • A "match" row comprises the text "NICE SHOES WANNA TALK?", the date and time of the "match" creation, and the image from the latest shoe of User B
  • A "solemate" row comprises the text "SOLEMATE?", the date and time of the "solemate" creation, and the image from the latest shoe of User B
  • The list is ordered by the date and time of the "match"/"solemate" creation, newest to oldest
  • If Current User clicks on any row, he is taken to the Connection Page of User B
