carla-xr-documentation's Issues

Scenario demo not working

Hello,

Thank you very much for the effort of providing a framework with extended reality features for CARLA.
I successfully completed the installation following the steps provided in the documentation, although I could not download the CARLA project from the link provided (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ljIhdkUBfxoW56eP-azSTeb2CxY1wXvq/view?usp=sharing), therefore I cloned the repository from here and checked out to the 0.9.12 tag.

The issue I am facing is when trying to run the provided examples. I had no problems setting up the oculus headset and the Unreal Engine, being able to see the animation of the Town10HD on the headset (after playing the simulation in VR preview mode) from a spawn point on a sidewalk.
However, when launching from the terminal the "01_Town07_keyboard_control.py" example, the pygame windows pop up on the PC, but the headset view stays in the initial spawn point that I get when starting the server.

Could you please suggest what could be a possible reason for this to happen? Is it that I downloaded the CARLA project from a different source? In that case could you please provide me access to your Carla_Build.7z?
When running the example I do get the following log:
WARNING: Version mismatch detected: You are trying to connect to a simulator that might be incompatible with this API
WARNING: Client API version = 0.9.12
WARNING: Simulator API version = 0.9.12-dirty

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

Best regards,
Carlos Risma Carletti
