Welcome to the 1st Phase-I project at CodersCave! This project involves an in-depth exploration of the Global Terrorism Database, uncovering insightful trends and patterns.

Temporal Trends:

• Peak attacks in 2014; observed a fluctuating trend in casualties.

Terrorist Groups:

• Identified and visualized the top 5 most active groups.

Attack Types:

• Most common attack type: Bombing/Explosion.

Target Analysis:

• Explored distributions based on target types and sectors.

Success/Failure Patterns:

• Analyzed the distribution and success rates across different attack types.

Hostages:

• Explored the percentage of attacks involving hostages and their outcomes.

Geographical Insights:

• Visualized the distribution of attacks by region and analyzed year-wise success.
