pycharm-community doesn't remove older versions when upgrading about chocolatey-packages

choco --version should provide you with the required information

Ah :) I think I figured it out, https://github.com/mkevenaar/chocolatey-packages/blob/master/automatic/pycharm-community/tools/chocolateyBeforeModify.ps1#L20 shows that if you have more than 1 version available, the uninstallation stops.

@jupsoleil could you please uninstall the older versions of pycharm-community using the control panel? Then it should work.

This is still happening for me. Every time Chocolatey installs a new PyCharm version, it leaves the (one) previous version installed. There's no particular indication from the log file that I can see. Here's the relevant section:
