@Foadsf Could you try and start the software from %CHOCOLATEYINSTALL%\lib\simulide\tools\SimulIDE_0.3.10_SR1-Win32\bin\simulide.exe?
You can paste this in run or in explorer.

@Foadsf Ah, so it's the shimgen file that is causing this.
I will add an ignore file to not create it then.

@Foadsf A new version is pushed to the Chocolatey.org. The software will not be in the path, as it does not work at this moment.

@mkevenaar Running the exe file worked. Thanks. However there is a C:\ProgramData\chocolatey\bin\simulide.exe which system refers to as the executable leading to this problem.
P.S. also something strange which I have reported here.
