equalizerapo's Issues

EqualizerAPO keeps getting uninstalled on devices.

As the title suggests, EqualizerAPO keeps getting uninstalled on devices.
Everything works fine but about once daily the EqualizerAPO uninstalls itself. I have yet to identify when this happens but it seems that it happens about once daily and is not necessarily related to Windows Update.

Error while building

For the past few weeks i've been working on equalizerAPO but i can't supposed to build the equalizerAPO from this source code. I have just followed the steps in the developer.txt file and facing error while building.

Error: "LNK1104 cannot open file 'C:\equalizerapo\x64\Debug\Common.lib' EqualizerAPO C:\equalizerapo\EqualizerAPO\LINK 1"

And i can't find any file Common.lib in the source code. So can someone help me to sort this error?

Make "audio enhancement" alert disableable in Configuration Editor

Hello, and thanks for the good stuffs !

I have a "TUF GAMING X670E-PLUS WIFI" motherboard, and audio device drivers come with all kinds of weird "enhancements" that basically destroy the sound with a "remote reverb" effect.

The only way I found to fix that, was disable all "audio enhancements" in the sound device parameters. I didn't tinker too much with the ASUS services and drivers, to avoid breaking stuffs on the long term.

However, when installed as SFX/EFX (under Windows 11), Equalizer APO still does work.

So the alert message "audio enhancementsdisabled " I get when opening the Configuration Editor is now a hindrance, a way to block it, or to detect when APO Equalizer will work without them, would be nice :)

Stopped working after august update

Seems like EqualizerAPO has stopped working for me after Windows 10 august update. Anybody else have this issue? (Version 21H2 19044.1889)
