folderplayout

A scheduled playout client for CasparCG.

Folderplayout is based on hierarchical schedule. You can combine groups, folders, clips and live inputs and use dates, weeks, days and hours to schedule these. When nothing from the schedule is playing, an external input is played. For example an info channel.

Folderplayout can be ran on solely CasparCG using Decklink inputs or using CasparCG for playout and Blackmagic Atem's for switching inputs.

Internally, folderplayout builds on SuperFly's Timeline project and the Timeline State Resolver from NRK's Sofie project.

Build Setup

# install dependencies
yarn install

# serve with hot reload at localhost:9080
yarn run dev

# build electron application for production
yarn run build


# lint all JS/Vue component files in `src/`
yarn run lint

folderplayout's Issues

CasperCG Media Scanner status is bad, can`t get it work

hi i`v been trying to load folder, but it dosen't seems to load it to the playlist, i tried Server 2.2 , and server 2.0.7 . the media scanner is always bad, is there any way to fix that?
this is my config file , also tried entering 127.0.0.1 instead of "localhost"

am i missing somthing?

potential file error. otherwise potentially a breaking error in casparcg-connection?

Make it a web service

Is it possible to create this into a web service that can be containerized?

CasparCG returns 404

possibly messed something up in the path parsing.

no volume when no files are played

when an hour passes where no files are played out at all, the volume does not raise back up.
