ingress-portals-finder's Issues

Expansion of bounds

Would like to see a small expansion of the bounds parameters - just want a bit more of the map included in the search if possible.

H

Still a bit buggy

Doesn't seem to find all needed portals. Almost seems like it only has the last tile.

Sorry to log issue, I really appreciate the hard work put into the extension.

Export unique portal identifier to csv/kml

If i remember correctly, each portal has a unique id, if you export this in an additional column, it would be easier to see which portals are new and which ones have been moved

Stopped working

After today's intel update the script stopped working, it shows "Query Failed - Sign-In Required!".

-ve logitudes (and possible latitudes) incorrectly formatted in export kml

The 1.3.13.1 fix seems to have introduced another problem.

Take this export as an example

<coordinates>-137500,51.503106,0</coordinates>

It looks like the formatting is getting confused by the -ve.

I believe the same problem could be stopping the google maps from working when you click on the maps view in the portal list from IPF. The "show in ingress" button works fine, but the "show in maps window" doesn't.

Today always: "Query Failed - Sign-In Required!"

today plugin always say (v 1.3.16 with manual patch for Enligtened, and v 1.3.17):
Query Failed - Sign-In Required!
If already in, try "Query" again or following steps:

  1. close this window;
  2. reload the /intel page;
  3. re-open this window.

Niantic banned plugin?

Not working?

Is it just me or is this not working at the moment? And seemed to happen before the quote issue. Could be just me but comes back with reload issue.

Help me about Ingress chrome extension

Hi, all.
I modified a google chrome extension for Ingress.
It worked before since 2013-05-10. and now, it's not working.(I guess bookmarklet.js file has the problem.)
I know here is not Q&A about the other problem.
But, I'm not a programmer. and I don't know how to fix the problem.
So, here is the only place that I ask.
Please check it out and if anyone can fix the problem, send me the fixed file please.
My problemed file link is https://www.dropbox.com/s/mjcr1mvxihk5yba/Ingress%3B%20KR%20Portal%20List%20v0.9.1.16.zip
Thank you.

Niantic updated API

Hi,
Can you guide us how to find this upgrades and implement it to new version.

I like this extension and want to make it work.

Add GPX as export format

To be usable with navigation systems and route planners, it would be nice to have portals exported as GPX waypoints

Incorrect formatting of Long/Lat in KML export for coordinates with low long/lat figures

Hi,

There seems to be an issue when exporting a scan to KML if the area is close to either the equator or the Greenwich meridian.

Try Bromley in Kent, UK which is close to the Greenwich meridian.

One of the portals comes out as:
<coordinates>23264,51.408843,0</coordinates>

When it should be:
<coordinates>.023264,51.408843,0</coordinates>

I think it's just a case of padding anything with less than 6 digits with leading zeros, but unfortunately my JS isn't good enough.

Query Failed - Sign-in required error still happening?

My heart broke when the portal finder stopped working the other day, it's invaluable for finding new portals. I'd given up until I found it seems to have an after-life here and, critically, that the sign-in bug seemed to have been fixed. But, alas, I'm still getting the error and am looking for tips to try and get it going.

I deleted the old version from Chrome, then downloaded the 1.3.11 version from the build tab here and dropped it into the Extensions, tried it and got the error. I tried reloading the Ingress/intel page and re-trying several times, and even closing and reloading from scratch, but no luck.

I also run IITC through TamperMonkey, so on the theory that might be causing a problem, I disabled IITC through TM and retried. No luck. I tried disabling TM altogether, no luck.

I'm running Chrome Version 26.0.1410.64 m

Any suggestions?

CRX_MAGIC_NUMBER_INVALID

Hi,

unable to install ingress-portals-finder-1.4.1.crx because on chrome (v28) the message
CRX_MAGIC_NUMBER_INVALID appears

CRX_MAGIC_NUMBER_INVALID

I get the above message when I drag and drop the .crx file to the Chrome extensions page. Any ideas?
Thanks,
buzz

Stopped working with new Chrome

The extension button doesn't open the extension window after upgrading Chrome from 29.0.1535.3-r205561 to 29.0.1541.2-r207000
