Mod for The Long Dark to customise the Nomad challenge, to make it harder and more interesting!

Installation

Requires The Long Dark Mod Loader: https://github.com/zeobviouslyfakeacc/ModLoaderInstaller

Copy CustomNomad.dll and CustomNomad.txt file into your /mods/ folder. Tweak the values of CustomNomad.txt to suit your game style, or use my values for a hardcore experience!

Features

• All features customisable using text file
• Days required raised from 3 to 5 in each location
• Difficulty raised from Voyageur to Stalker
• Skill books added back in
• Ability to choose start region, no longer start in the farmhouse
• Clothing repair % reduced
• Being encumbered uses more calories than before
• Sprinting uses more food
• Starvation hurts more, starving all day is no longer optimal
• Base calorie usage reduced to compensate for starvation hurting
• Cabin fever can be toggled off
