IoT Plug and Play Technical Workshop

This repo is prepared for contents sharing for Hands-on-Labs (HOLs) during IoT Plug and Play workshop.

Requirements

• Azure subscription

• A device

  • Seeed Wio Terminal

  • Linux environment to run a simulator

    • Ubuntu 18, Ubuntu running in WSL, or Raspbian running on Raspberry Pi 3/4

• Additional Providers
  Please ensure following providers are registered in your subscription

  • Container Instance (Microsoft.ContainerInstance)

  • Azure Digital Twins (Microsoft.DigitalTwins)

Agenda

1. Please follow Deploy a sample IoT Solution with IoT Plug and Play
2. Experience IoT Plug and Play with IoT Central
3. Prepare an IoT Device
   • If you have Seeed Wio Terminal, please follow this instruction
   • If you do NOT have Seeed Wio Terminal, please use Simple Thermostat simulator
4. Create Azure Indoor Map data and visualize in the sample IoT Solution
5. Create a building digital twin graph with Azure Digital Twins
6. Visualize digital twins with Azure Indoor Map

iot-plug-and-play-workshop's Issues

ResourceNotFoundError: Service principal '...' doesn't exist

デプロイ後の作業を行うの_Post_Deployment_Scriptを実行したところで、「ResourceNotFoundError: Service principal '...' doesn't exist」というエラーが発生しました。
なにか対処が必要でしょうか？

Resource group 'pnpws' could not be found

デプロイ後の作業を行うの_Post_Deployment_Scriptを実行したところで、「ResourceGroupNotFound: Resource group 'pnpws' could not be found.」というエラーが発生しました。

Azure Portalで確認すると、'pnpws'は存在しています。

Unique IDの文字数制限

新しいリソースグループを作成するの「Unique ID を記入します」にある、最小5文字、最大12文字の制限は、パラメーターのUnique IDに対する制限でしょうか？それとも、IoT-PnP-WS-のうちのUnique IDに対する制限でしょうか？
