Since I didn't mention it above specifically I am calling enableDictation() correctly and the service is working in my solution. It is just this oddity that I need to address.

@faster-than-human From our service contact: "The behavior is as expected I would presume as we would get an end of audio signal. Seems to me that the best solution for him here is to manage the audio stream directly such that turning the microphone off just results in either silence sent to the service or just skipping of the audio, but not a closing and reopening of the audio stream."

Thank you for the information. Unfortunately that isn't really an option for medical providers. They are pretty bad when it comes to using software in the way it should be used. Either way if this service doesn't have any way to either disable the capitalization in dictation mode or provide context on the first returned token I will have to figure something else out on my side.
