Hi @amd-cristian, thank you for your detailed report, and I apologize for the delayed response.
Given that it functioned correctly with Xamarin.iOS and now doesn't work on net8, I believe there is something to do with updated error handling on net8. Additionally, the async/sync difference is also suspicious.
We will investigate this according to our priority list. Should you have any suggestions or ideas, please do not hesitate to share them or submit a contribution via a pull request.
