AppCenter.Start causes error : "database is locked" about appcenter-sdk-dotnet

Experiencing this one too building iOS MAUI app with Windows machine paried to MAC.

I have hot reload and restart switched off and errors still appear.

It looks similar to #1530 and probably to #1703.

@RTonnesen , I was not able to reproduce the issue on your demo application.

I would like to ask some additional questions:

• Do you build your project on Windows machine or Mac?
• Have you tried to build the app on a simulator? Is it reproducing both on simulator and physical device?
• Have you tried to build on different iOS versions and if yes, would it work on any? If no, please try.
• Have you tried to prepare a release archive and install it on an iOS device via AppCenter or TestFlight? If yes, are you facing the same errors on a release build? If no, please try.
• Have you tried to downgrade the appcenter sdk version to 4.* and check if the issue remains? If no, please try.

Building on Windows. Visual Studio 2022 Enterprise
It's not reproducing on simulator (iPhone 14 iOS 16.2)
Tried to target iOS 15. Still fails
Tried AppCenter sdk 4.5.3. Also fails
Haven't tried to deploy a release using AppCenter nor TestFlight

Thank you for the answers. I believe it can be happening only for windows build and debug. Should be good in release. Can you try to upload an iOS archive to App Center or TestFlight and try to download and check if the app is running without this error?
Another question, if you can try to reproduce it on Mac? Do you have an access to Mac machine for building and checking the app on it?

I would also ask you to try to disable hot reload and hot restart if you are using such, and check if it helps.

@Mittchel , may I ask you to create a minimal demo app reproducing the issue? I'm surprised your face this building on mac.
