I have forked your code and made use of it in a publication that is nearly complete:

I used network enhancement to remove noise from a covariation network formed by the pairwise correlation between protein profiles quantified in a spatial proteomics experiment performed in mouse brain.

I have cited Wang et al, the original authors of the approach, but I utilized your R fork to do the actual heavy lifting.
