For the psf fit plots (data, model, residual), it would be good to see the input centroid (red 'X') and the model centroid (some other symbol) on all three plots.

We need to change the BUNIT keyword in the output spectrum after flux calibration. It still says ‘electron’, when it should say ‘Flam’ or ‘erg/s/cm^2/A’.

I think it should be cube.id_to_xy().

We're working on integrating pysedm in SkyPortal.
We noticed that with recent versions of iminuit and/or watchdog, pysedm breaks. it would be nice to provide a requirements.txt file, where the most recent versions of the packages required by pysedm are pinned.

We are trying to get the pipeline to update the database on pharos and I was wondering the best way to extract certain parameters. In particular, I would like the avg rms of the wavelength fits, along with the minimum and maximum rms. I would also like the mean width of the spaxel traces, along with the minimum and maximum widths. Would it be easiest to put this in the header of one of the cal files like the Flat.fits file, or is there a diagnostic report that can be generated somehow for the calibration part of the pipeline? A simple keyword, value text file, like the header of the spec_*.txt files, say named 'calib_stats.txt' would work (maybe with the UTDate pre-pended like the *.pkl files). I also would like to get the total number of spaxels that were fit. Any other relevant statistic or diagnostic would be good to add to the report.

When re-extraction is performed, this keyword should either be set from the env var SEDM_USER or prompted for.

For now, only the mean spectrum is available as an option:

It would be nice to instead pass the centroided spaxel (for example) to show that instead.

When using the --display mode of extract_star.py, the image is completely re-scaled when the escape key is it.
