An open-ephys plugin that allows to mix, weight, and apply a rolling average to bandwidths of interest on a single channel. We're using it to detect absence-like seizures in mice in real time.

Sampling Rate Question

Hi,

I have a question about the sampling rate of the multi-band integrator.
Is the power calculated and returned at the same sampling rate being used for open ephys?
For example, if I am sampling in open ephys at 30,000Hz, and I am using the multi-band integrator with the crossing detector, with the crossing detector set so that 50% of the previous 30,000 power signal samples must be above the threshold, does this mean half of the power signal values in the last 1 second must be above the threshold?

Releasing via Plugin Installer

Hello! The Open Ephys development team would like to make this plugin available to the community via the GUI's Plugin Installer.

Before we do that, we have a few questions:

  • Is the code on GitHub up to date?
  • Are there any particular features that need improvement? We are happy to put some effort in to make the plugin as general-purpose as possible
  • Is there additional documentation available beside what's in the README file? We will be adding a page dedicated to this plugin on the GUI's new docs site.
  • Is there a sample dataset containing absence-like seizures you've been using for testing/benchmarking?

Having issues compiling

Hi mich11,

I am interested in using this code to do some online LFP processing in mice. I'm having an issue compiling in Visual Studio 2013, however. I am getting the error pasted below. I am inexperienced with Visual Studio so I apologize for what is probably a trivial question, but I haven't been able to get it to work. I was also confused by the directories mentioned in the installation instructions contained in your README file, as they do not seem to exist within this repository. Any advice you may have would be greatly appreciated!
