$ npm run dev
gives error

TypeError: webpack.validateSchema is not a function

So that may need to update some of the devDependencies of the project.

I am javascript newbe.... When I try

npm install
npm run dev

I get a complaint:

this can be fixed by adding the line:
"babel-eslint": "^7.1.1",

to the dependencies and the devDependencies.

However then there are eslint errors on spacing and semi colons

and then trouble loading the flag gif
