can't delete synapses about metamaps

What's the status on this? Can I delete them yet? This issue is closed but I can't find how to delete synapses anywhere.

You can select multiple synapses using shift+click, and then using the
action button at the top titled 'Permanently Delete Selected'

Would it be hard to make the delete button do this? To me this would be
more intuitive. I likely already heard about the "delete selected' button,
but had already forgot.

the issue is that there are three different "delete" functionalities that are necessary.

1. delete permanently (delete from main database)
2. delete from map
3. hide from current map view.

It is important we keep differentiation between these functionalities to work contextually with the knowledge generated within metamaps.
