This is not a bug but some improvements can be made. Though all public interfaces of this package are using PSR interfaces, there are a few implementation details can also be changed to reply purely on PSR interfaces. For instance:

• PSR-17 has factory interfaces for Stream and Request
• PSR-7 has header changing interface withHeader

With above, I can probably remove all dependencies on zendframework/zend-diactoros. Then the client of this package , e.g., async-soap-guzzle, should inject PSR-17 factory instances into this package or defer the creation of PSR-17 factory instances to the application entry point.

composer tells me that zendframework/zend-diactoros is abandoned and should be replaced.

Package zendframework/zend-diactoros is abandoned, you should avoid using it. Use laminas/laminas-diactoros instead.

Any plans to replace that package? And is this package still actively maintained?
