Using Global and Hidden for the parameter tabs makes it not customizable

Please drop the /* [Global] */ tab from:

scad-lib-hirthjoints/lib-hirthjoints.scad

This prevents global variables that have not been parameterized for the Thingiverse or OpenSCAD Customizer from showing up in the Customizer interface or widget.

If you open this file as-is in OpenSCAD 2021.01 Customizer, none of the parameters are available for customizing, since Global doesn't get it's own section, it s only repeated in children, and the only other tab is the hidden "Hidden".

If you change the tab title to /* [Hirth] */ you get a Hirth dropdown form for the parameters.
