Nagios plugin to check slab size usage as percent of total memory.

Check Nagios Config

Check the size of Slab memory does not exceed percentage of total memory.

INSTALL

Example:

wget https://raw.github.com/mclarkson/check_slabsize/master/check_slabsize
chmod +x check_slabsize
mv check_slabsize /usr/lib64/nagios/plugins/

EXAMPLE OUTPUT

OK: Slab at 2% of total RAM.

WARNING: Slab at 73% of total RAM. | 'Slab %'=73%;50;90;;

MANUAL PAGE

$ ./check_slabsize -h

check_slabsize - Alert if Slab usage is high.

Usage: check_slabsize [options]

 -p      :  Add performance data output for graphing.
 -w NUM  :  Warning alert if Slab memory exceeds NUM % of RAM.
            Default is 50.
 -c NUM  :  Critical alert if Slab memory exceeds NUM % of RAM.
            Default is 90.
 -h      :  Display this help text.

Example:

  Check that Slab does not exceed 50% or 90% of RAM

    ./check_slabsize
