Hi,
May a good idea to separate find DIR or FILES.
I need looking for files and added -type f
found=find $DIR -mindepth 1 -maxdepth 1 -type f -name "$FILE" 2>/dev/null | wc -l``

i.e. allow for checking like such:

check_file_exists.sh -d /var/lib/pacemaker/blackbox -i *

Which I would expect to be critical if any files existed within the '/var/lib/pacemaker/blackbox/' directory.

Presently the check actually looks for a file called '*':

root@s1-san5:/var/lib/pacemaker/blackbox # /usr/lib64/nagios/plugins/ixa/check_file_exists.sh -d /var/lib/pacemaker/blackbox -i *
CRITICAL:  File '*' found in '/var/lib/pacemaker/blackbox/'.
root@s1-san5:/var/lib/pacemaker/blackbox 2 # ls
root@s1-san5:/var/lib/pacemaker/blackbox  #
