rftoolsutility's Issues

Crafter doesn't seem to work on dedicated server

Tried to use the crafter but nothing happens on a dedicated server. Doing the same in single player does work though.

Things I've noticed:

  • The power is correct with waila but when entering the machine it displays -15536/50000. Clicking on R, F, Redstone mode or Speed mode updates it and displays the same value as waila.
  • The crafting doesn't seem to work mainly because the craft isn't being saved. Do a configuration, leave the crafter, open it again and it's all blank.

Maybe things happens only on the GUI client side and don't get sync with the server?

I saw this in the server log but can't tell at all if it is related to this mod:

[30Oct2019 11:27:33.727] [Server thread/ERROR] [net.minecraftforge.fml.network.simple.IndexedMessageCodec/SIMPLENET]: Received invalid discriminator byte 23

Issues with dialing device

The device is misspelled as "dailing" device, teleportation doesn't work across dimensions, and the tooltips for transmitters/receivers move incorrectly when the mouse moves (inverted Y axis)

Also, you should put a link to the issues on the curseforge page

RFtools Screen causes crash

so today i was using the rftools utilitys screen and it was working fine untill i pressed the "Font truetype for the screen" and it caused a render crash it is repeatable.
i have the log aswell if you have to check that out

Builder / quarry doesn't chunkload

mc 1.14.4 , forge 28.1.61, rfbase .6.6 alpha, rfbuilder 1.2.4 alpha, lib 3.5.9

the Builder as Quarry ( clearing silk) supplied with power from fully loaded Powecells is stopping when leaving the chunk ( teleporting away) . entering again it continues

settings in rftoolsbuilder-common.toml

quarryChunkloads = true

as well it always tell that not enough power, even when supplied by powercells with an output >10kRF / tick

This is just an Info, I know its alpha

Porter and Tank

2 minor issues. The Advanced charged porter doesn't take on the Receiver name and does not accept typed name. When it is linked it says something like ..
Dimension DimensionType {minecraft:overworld}
.. there is more I think but even though a cursor appears it can't be moved.
The other on is the Tank, the box that displays the fluid render doesn't show anything until 5 buckets have been added. Also, while it does have a bar showing how full it is, can you add something to the UI that shows the amount of fluid it is holding please. At the moment TheOneProbe doesn't show a level for it.

While playing ATM5 (both before and after manually updating RFTools Utility) while shift clicking inside of an inventory with a stackable item, the item would move into another tile while doubling the size of it stack up to max stack number.

Rftools Matter transmitter/receiver issues when set to "Private"

Versions :
rftoolsbase-1.14-0.0.11-alpha
rftoolsutility-1.14-1.2.12-alpha
Forge 103
(modpack Enigmatica 4 if that's any useful)

Hello,
Unless I'm missing something I think the Matter transmitters and receivers are not fully working properly :

  • When you set the transmitter to "private" and add your mc name to the list to allow yourself, you can no longer teleport anywhere.
  • When you set the receiver to "private" and add your mc name to the list, you cannot see it in the list in the dialer anymore. (The way around this one is to leave it public, dial, and then set it to private. However if you want to interrupt the dial, you wouldn't be able to dial on it again, unless you set it back to public before doing so). If I'm not clear let me know :)

Thanks in advance,
Jin

Modular storage destroying/duping items

So there i was playing ATM6, wanted to sort my inv (using inv tweaks) while i was in modular storage gui. I middle clicked to sort, items from storage module got replaced with items in my inventory. As storage module was almost full (300 stacks) it deleted most of my items and module itself gave me half of inventory of ores also deleted storage module itself. When i tried to reproduce: if my inv isnt full it gives me items that were in storage module(if they all fit) including storage module, but doesnt remove items from module. So i get items to my inv and the same items are still in the module. Hope that covers it

Elevator

The elevator block does not exist, nor can I find it in the files. Will they add it? And hopefully they carry dimensions in the future. Thanks in advance and greetings, great job by the way.

Crash when opening Dialing Device GUI

Issue description: When opening a dialing device GUI it crashes with an NPE.

Steps to reproduce:
Dialing device was placed while forge version was 31.1.35.

With the new update where forge was changed to 31.1.45 the game crashes when opening the dialing device

With the latest update, when I try to open the GUI of the crafter, I get this in the client log:

[Client thread/WARN] [net.minecraft.client.gui.ScreenManager/]: Failed to create screen for menu type: rftoolsutility:crafter

Counter looses function on restart.

MC 1.16.3
Forge:1.16.3-34.1.25

I have a sequencer leading into a counter. The sequencer has 4 ticks enabled and is set to loop2 and restarts on pulse from a mana detector, it points to a counter set to 2 & current 15.
It is used to place TNT for a botania setup, the counter gives it time to place and detonate 1 TNT before a 2nd is triggered. This works fine until I log off.
The counter becomes inactive and inaccessible. I need to break and replace, I can then access the UI to set it to 2 (and output 15) and it runs fine again.
ADDITIONAL - decided to test leaving the area, went to The End and returned. The counters UI is accessible BUT it loses the Current strength value....it drops to 1, but the Counter remains at 2.
This is a little strange. Further Update - the actual current output doe not seem to change when the value changed ....the redstone reads as 15

1.15.2 Client crash looking at Screen on server

1.15.2 Crafter crash

Description: Ticking entity
java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 3, Size: 3
https://pastebin.com/HZDT2KAH

In a tier1 and tier3 crafter I try to make netherstars from mystical agradditions.
The 1st recipe is 9x netherstar essence to make 1 nether star shard. Set to intern, keep or all => works.

When the shard is arrived in the internal inventory of the crafter I try to set up the second recipe:
3 x shard => shows the correct netherstar icon as result, "all" or "keep", extern.
Click Apply => crash.

I tried several times with blocking empty slots w cobble or using "keep" instead of "all" and tried tier1 and tier3 crafters. The result was always this crash. Crafting a nether star "by hand" in the player's inv works without crashing the game. (test if mystical aggr works as it seems to be suspicious, too)

I have

optifine preview,
Forge 31.1.74
rftoolsutility-1.15-2.1.1-beta

Energy Screen Module is capped at 2^32

I'm using the Energy Screen Module to read the Energy Level of an Induction Matrix from Mekanism which currently holds 25.6 GFE however it seems the Energy Screen Module can only read numbers up to 2^32, which means it stops at 2.1 GFE (even in compact mode).

Permanent broke

I placed a screen controller down then placed a screen block. My game crashed and I can no longer open that world. Using 1.14.4, mod version 1.14-1.2.13 alpha

Inventory tweaks can sort items into crafter ghostslots

Inventory tweaks can currently sort the inventory of a crafter. In which case items from the players inventory end up in the grid (effectively voiding them).

I recently fixed this for RS by overriding canTake() for slots that players are not supposed to be able to insert/extract items.
Not certain that completely fixes it. but should help.

Filter slot in crafter

It seems like we're able to input items into the filter slot if we're using the ITEM_HANDLER capability (I have a pipe putting items in from the right side). This is a bit annoying as the items won't be used for crafting and are taken out from the hopper below.

This happens when the input buffer is full.

Maybe should prevent this slot from being inserted with the capability, or at least make it filter for the future filter items.

Crafter inputing to output slot

Tier 3 crafter with RS exporter (plus stack and speed) inputs to the crafter output slots once input slots are full.

Also the "module slot" above the Remember & Forget buttons seems to get a ghost of the 1st output slots item

Pretty much the same one from here McJtyMods/RFToolsPower#52

Game crashes at start

The game crashes during starting process.
It seems to be something withe the syringe.

The error is reproducable. (Have tried it several times)
Without RFToolsutility the games starts without any problems.

Minecraft: 1.16.2
Forge: 33.0.20
McJtyLib: 1.16-5.0.4
RFToolsbase: 1.16-2.0.3-beta
RFToolsutility: 1.16-3.0.6-beta

Error Log: https://pastebin.com/fRex3gun

Edit: It doesn't work with Forge 33.0.21 - the same error.

Crafter Severely broken...no player inventory showing and lost stored recipes display

RFtools Utility 1.16-3.0.17
RFTools base 1.16-2.0.6
McjtyLib 1.16-5.0.12
MC ver 1.16.3
forge-34.1.32
I have a Tier 3 Crafter setup, converting all MA essence to Supreme, I went to access it to manually put essence in but could not see my player inventory items. THIS IS ONLY A VISUAL BUG.... they are there and I managed to get the essence in by placing them in my slot 1 and clicking the seemingly empty slot when in the crafter UI. Also the saved crafts show in the left panel but are not showing up in the right panel where the recipes are learned...probably also just visual but not sure and make it unusable

Edit- This is odd. I just realised I had another crafter (They are both T3 BTW) that is attached to an RS crafter and doing Minecolony crafts with the Structurise Building tool. It is operating correctly. The crafter that is doing the essence has input and output via modular routers, the one doing the Minecolony crafting is input RS crafter output Modular Routers. The only other interaction is they are both connected to Cyclic cables for power. I doubt even you can work out this one. ;)

empty syringe in a spawner crashes the game

Issue description: Each time I put an empty syringe inside a (charged, i have a flux point on top) spawner the game crashes, it throws an java.lang.NullPointerException. It is possible that the developper forgot the manage the case where there's no essence inside the syringe.
