esbe-2g's Issues

Shadows too dark

In my opinion, the shadows are way too dark during clear daytime. In real life, shadows won't be this dark, and it does not make Minecraft look pretty. That's the only thing I don't like about this shader. Other than that, this is the best shader I have found for Bedrock edition.

Improve the inner lightning (Too Yellow)

The Shaders are wonderful, the thing is that when you put a light in a inner room without sunlight, the color of the light is too yellow, there are thing like sealantern or a beacon that when you put it in a closed place without light, gives too warm lights that for someones looks weird.

Would be nice if the light could be as white as it looks in the water, that looks like a more natural light.

Doesn't work on Realms

Works on created worlds but not on Realms it seems. Windows 10 bedrock edition. I found an old 14.2 version which does work on Realms. Just not sure why this one doesn't?

ESBG_2G v5.0 Crashs bedrock Windows 10

When I try to start a world or enter a server (using the last version of MC 1.16.1 Bedrock version Windows 10) the game crash and don't show me nothing (like report or something like that).

ESBE-2G global resource causes Minecraft PE to crash

I have two active resources on Minecraft PE, the 'Minecraft Texture Pack' and 'ESBE_2G_v3.2'.

During a load of Minecraft PE (version 1.13.1) it can crash, on subsequent loads i see the message 'Global resources reset. Resources failed to load previously.'. It then seems to sort itself out and it works correctly for a while, including loading ESBE.

Is there any logs i can give you to help figure out what the issue is?

The "brightness" game setting has no visible effect in the shader.

Tested with shader version 3.2 on Windows 10. And I have to say first your shader is beautiful ๐Ÿ‘
My PC screen is quite bright and in Vanilla minecraft, I can see enough to go around in a completely dark cave. At the same time, daylight is looking ok.
You shader look extremely contrasted on this screen: I have to lower the screen brightness for daylight but then, night is very very dark. I understand that it is an aesthetic choice but I tried to adjust the game experience to my hardware. I made some research and found:

  • I cannot adjust the gamma on the screen
  • there is a gfx_gamma parameter hidden in the configuration file but it has no effect in game since ... years?
  • there is a brightness adjustment in video setting, but is look like it has no effect when your shader is "ON" (that is my bug report :-) ) ( I see no difference at least)

Using this parameter just to change the "overall" brightness will not be very useful (screen adjustment can do that)
But It would be very nice if your shader can take this brightness parameter to adjust the "maximum" daylight brightness, or something like the maximum brightness range ( a bit like a gamma adjustment) . Then we could use the screen adjustment for the darkest game scenes, and "brightness" for the brightest scenes.

(Note: I am programmer and I know nothing about shader but I am ready to experiment with it: I have been looking at your code to see if I can change it myself. I found code that use the "Fancy graphic" switch for example, but I have no idea how to get the "brightness setting" value. I even checked your twitter but found nothing. If you do not want this change in your code base, I can make a clone and test with it)
Thank for the great work anyway ๐Ÿ‘

ESBE does not let the Skins see.

When I put ESBE in the resource packages it doesn't show the skins. Why is this happening? Thank you for creating it. Goodbye and Happy New Year.

Sky lag on Android and Windows 10

The sky causes lag both in my Redmi 7 with a Snapdragon 632 and 3gb of ram, and in my laptop with an i3 2348m and an Intel HD 3000 and 8gb of ram

Water effect not from the side?

Heya,

I really love that shader pack and also the water. What I did notice though is, now that I made a little aquarium in my House where I had used Glass Blocks to see the water from the side, I can barely see anything because of the reflections.

Is it maybe possible to lower the reflections from water on the side? or maybe when seeing through glass blocks?

Water animation FPS drop

After Minecraft launch all animations seem fine, but after 3-4 min in a world water animation's FPS gradually drop to an almost complete stop
Video

Glass causes dark shadow

Info
Glass, while being transparent, depletes light under block and causes sky to fade shades. In all honesty, the sky does not need to fade to darkness, it's a little much.

To reproduce:

  • Place glass directly above head with no blocks above

Sky dome is always visible when underwater

When underwater the sky dome is always visible in the distance (not above through the water but all around like sky walls) which ruins the effect of being underwater. This is on Windows 10 at render distance of 72. If you disable the sky shader all is ok then and underwater works well. Perhaps the sky dome should cut off at Y level 63/64 (water surface level). [EDIT] On further inspection it appears this occurs due to the water (waves) effect only rendering a short distance out and then the water surface does not render at all (thus showing the sky dome as the water surface beyond all areas where the water wave effect stops rendering. Is there a way to turn off the water waves effect and just use normal water surfaces?

Shader dosen't render on realms

I've never ran into this issue with a shader. If I upload a map to the realm with the shader, it deactivates the shader. If i enable it on the realm instead, it doesn't render bust shows up in the active resource packs.

It does not work in version 1.16.201

The graphics are not applied in this version I am testing in the Windows 10 store version, I only tried to put the shaders without texture packages and they still do not work.

My components are:
GPU: GTX 1060 3GB G1 REV 2.0
PROCESS: I5 10400F
SSD: 240GB ADATA SU650
