This is my personal configuration for my favorite Termux

Installation Dependecies

Attention!

• Termux must be F-Droid Version because Termux from Playstore no longer maintained because there are some problems with the Playstore publishing
• Termux:API must be installed myTermux use API command from Termux:API like fetch termux-battery-status

Update Repository & Upgrade Package

pkg update && pkg upgrade

git & bc

• Package git for cloning or downloading repository
• Package bc for calculate repository size which will be cloning or downloading

pkg i -y git bc

Installation myTermux

Clone or Download This Repository

git clone --depth=1 https://github.com/mayTermux/myTermux.git

Run Script Installer

• Move to Folder

cd myTermux

• export variable COLUMNS and LINES

This variable function so that the installer script can read the column and row widths of Termux Application so that later it matches the output during the installation process.

export COLUMNS LINES

• Execute Installer

./install.sh

If you get error message Please Zoom Out. Zoom Out on Termux Application then run again the script

If the row and column widths of the application are correct, the script will automatically run, like this:

Then follow the installation until it's finished

Don't install custom zsh

What install custom zsh?

Issue with termux menu

Can i fix this somehow??

Masalah dengan beberapa file hilang dan tidak dapat menjalankan..

File di dalam folder /tmp atau folder lain sepertinya ada yang hilang. Karena ada beberapa perintah yang menjadi berubah dan error.
Contohnya ketika saya mau mejalankan ./androdeb.sh (debian yang telah di download) itu menjadi error untuk di jalankan. Saya coba jalankan dengan perintah "bash ./androdeb.sh" dapat berjalan akan tetapi muncul masalah lain, yaitu saat ingin menghubungkan untuk menjalankan ke vnc muncul peringatan "Warning: localhost:1 is taken because of /tmp/.X1-lock
Remove this file if there is no X server localhost:1
A VNC/X11 server is already running as :1 on machine localhost
VNC server started". Mohon bantuannya untuk di perbaiki. Atau berikan cara memperbaiki masalah tersebut. Terimakasih

How to Uninstall this Theme

NVIM dumping everything text I'm deleting in my clipboard isn't FUNNY

Atleast tell me how to disable neovim dumping everything in my clipbaord. I've important notes in clipboard.
I request you to disable it

After installing zsh theme and ls command unavailable

After installing the latest version the chzsh showing 0 theme and the ls command not working anymore also my terminal is broken as there is no zsh theme.

so when I enter the application, I have waited 30 minutes and I restarted Termux, but still

Could you make the scripts cleaner?

As the title says, could you make scripts cleaner since some of them are kinda messy.
Like the .scripts/system/fetch.sh file has many unneeded ifs in the executeFetch function (for the battery) and you could use case statement in there too (same thing for the execute function (for the disk/storage)).
Also the executeFetch function (for the battery) does not execute anything when the battery state is NOT_CHARGING (when phone is connected to the charger but the charge is stopped by features like "Protect Battery" which stops charging at 85%).

Don't change default termux shortcut

look at : https://github.com/mayTermux/myTermux/blob/main/.termux/termux.properties#L22

the default shortcut for change session are CTRL + n.
but, you change it to CTRL + u. don't you know that shortcut for nano paste function?

even though it's posible to rebinding nano shortcut from .nanorc file.

just leave that as default, why doing a useless thing by change that shortcut?

Error Installer Not Found when Installing Neovim Plugins with Packer

I have installed it following the documentation, but I got an error when installing neovim plugin with packer, The error message shows
status [ERROR INSTALLER NOT FOUND]

Previously I also saw an error when Getting Information Repository, it shows
(standard_in) 2: syntax error

after installation, when i check ~/.config/ there is no nvim folder inside it.

I run it on Infinix Hot 10s with android version 11, here's the screenshot

Dont Overwrite pacman

Pacman is officially supported

• but after installing maytermux , its override pacman command with some toe .
• i can fix it with unalias pacman

problem is why you guys use alias for pacman . it is most important package manager for termux.

Exa package is deprecated, use eza instead.

The ls command stops working after installation due to exa being deprecated.

Stuck after logging in.

I am using Termux v0.117. After installing and restarting termux and logging with default username and password i am stuck with this screen. After doing Ctrl+C only it gives me prompt to type anything and why are these extra keys in middle of the screen?

Edit: Removing fullscreen = true line from termux-properties seems to solve extra keys in the middle of screen issue but black screen after logging in is still present. I faced two more issues.

1. Can't add extra keys. When i try to do so it's giving me this error:
   Could not load and set the "extra-keys" property from the properties file:
   org.json.JSONException: Unterminated array at character 89 of [['ESC', ','','BACK
   SLASH','=','^','$','()','{}','[]',{key: KEYBOARD, popup: DRAWER}],>
2. In login screen if we typed wrong password and try to clear with backspace, instead of clearing
   it will just keep on adding.

CLANG-FORMAT ERROR

I was installing mytermux and I got this error as shown

after apply this theme ls cmd not working.

as title says, ls cmd not works after apply these theme. when I give ls cmd it says to install exa pkg. but when I install exa it says no candidate available.

solution I found: rm -rf $PREFIX
so, it remove ur ur all installed pkgs, header, and problem also get fix but termux data will not deleted and theme also be ok

Package installation issue

When i have installed this theme, then i am not able to install npm i node-pty it gives error. But without this theme There is no problem in installing.
Please provide reason behind this problem...

And second thing:
Add something to disable or delete this theme from termux

Please use original nvchad, I got lot of errors
