Steps:
- Configure the server with the credentials for our Azure long-term storage. This should allow new connections and requests to the Azure backend without needing further authentication.
- Add an API endpoint on the server which listens for POST requests. If the server has files matching the names POSTed to the API, these are selected for upload to Azure.
- Add a corresponding client-side button which creates and submits POST requests containing names or other identifiers (e.g.
uuids) indicating one or more files to upload. This may be in-progress inclient/src/components/utils/UploadService.js? - On the server-side, when files are selected for upload, call the Azure API to POST to pre-configured long-term storage.
