accio's Issues

tell story from aristotle to knowledge-approach

yeah, aristotle!

this is fromn @VerenaKasztantowicz:

"First, concepts are mentally represented as definitions. A definition provides characteristics that are a) necessary and b) jointly sufficient for membership in the category. Second, the classical view argues that every object is either in or not in the category, with no in-between cases." [@murphy-2004, p. 15]

Prototype view (Rosch)

no definitions but also no typicality (this refers to the LOGICAL q-cat),

Notice how this funnily parallels how we developed the procedure.

Tom F. Wilderjans (nPCA advice)

Dear Maximilian,

regarding your question on cross-validated from last month "Can we decomp a J x J x K array of correlation matrices with Tucker and/or Candecomp/Parafac?"

Yes, INDSCAL is an option. It depends on the specific information that you want to get out of your data whether or not INDSCAL is the optimal choice.

If you need more information or help on the analysis, you can contact me by replying to this email. Please explain a bit more your data (what are the items, how collected) and your research question (what information do you want to get out of the data). I have 10 years experience in analysing three-way data. I probably can give you some advise on how to tackle your problem.

Nudging-Antrag BMBF (Bürgerbeteiligung, Citizen Science, Nudging)

BMBF Ausschreibung

Another potential application of Q, perhaps with BMBF funding for some more work.

unity of persons as reason for pca

  • Notice that the justification for npca across domains is that in q we believe in the unity of a PERsON so there should be a combined model describing in that subjectivity across domains

Julius data in komki is false

the item descriptions have been moved around towards the end; this might be bug in the import functions and more.

M is na, though it should be the next category.
