Paper about the probabilistic model in automatic error fixing
I think I remember discussing this but I don't remember what we concluded: why do we show the percentage of tests passed by a patched program in Table IV and the number of patches that generalize in Table V? Is there a reason to not be consistent?
Please remove the .log, .aux, .pdf, and other byproducts of build from this repos, along with the IEEE howto PDF. Note that this, and other similar principles for collaborating, are covered in my writing guide (https://clairelegoues.com/2016/08/23/things-i-keep-repeating-about-writing/).
Then add them to a .gitignore and push it.
Also, please rename your main .tex such that it is indicative.
Check double quotes as well.
If it's just a single run, leave description as is. If it's the aggregation of 10 seeds, say so.
I know I said I'd do it but I thought it was just one place in approach; we mention it extensively in the results as well to explain why we don't use it. Instead, just eliminate all reference to it, as though it doesn't exist.
You are breaking paragraphs with \, which means your paragraphs are not appropriately spaced or indented. Leaving a blank line between paragraphs tells latex to do the correct thing.
Please wrap your lines at 80 characters, or sentence breaks, especially as we will be iterating frequently.
Somehow I never caught that the association rules all require two antecedents. Why is that?
Anyway, in section 4.E.B, we say we have to remove patches from the corpus for training. Do we do that after training that happens in 4.E.a? Or before? If before, move that explanation earlier, perhaps in the text before 4.E.a starts. If after....explain it to me, because I'm confused.
I converted a couple of the Tables to Figures, when they had long captions that looked weird. Please go through the text and look for al lreferences to Figures and Tables and make sure the thing that's being referenced is in fact a Figure or a Table respectively. IF not, change the reference (not the actual figure or table). That is, if a sentence reads "Table~\ref{atable}" but the thing labeled "atable" is a Figure, change the sentence to read "Figure~\ref{atable}".
As indicated in my instructions for paper writing (read it if you haven't!) please give your .tex an indicative name.
(I have 12 papers going on at once, I really need them to be named reasonably on my file system.)
