this is not an issue, this is a request, but your example is one of the closest I have been looking for after several days.

Can you please update your example to show how you could get the roles or groups populated in the adal.js token and then use these for authorization in the webapi backend? For some reason I can find very little information on how this can be done

Step 2, "remember to use the class ID from the client application you created", what are you talking about? Are you referring to the client ID of the AAD instance created for the client? Are you supposed to change the "id" field under OAuthPermission to match the client ID of the client AAD instance?

Neither work, so what exactly is supposed to be done, if anything.

Your README instructs users to update their API's manifest.. I'm getting an error if I try to add origin into my oauth2Permissions node. They must have changed the schema for this since you first published this to github

Furthermore, at least in my case, my app's manifest already features a oauth2Permissions that seems like I can't edit whatsoever. If I try to update the id to match my client id, it complains 'CannotDeleteEnabledEntitlement'
