A prereq for being able to support models, which would be pretty nice.

Faster convergence is always nice, so lets see if we can't get some importance sampling in here to do that

It'd be nice to be able to compose textures. Things like being able to multiply a few textures together.
More noise options for the noise texture would also be stellar.

This is partly for myself, but definitely for any users as well.

I absolutely do not want to keep having to recompile every time I change a test scene. Figure out a file format to let scenes be authored as data.

This problem space is absurdly paralellizable, so lets take advantage of that and actually run in a reasonable time. Maybe later it'll get put on the GPU
