When I try to download https://www.yt-download.org/file/mp3/fwY7pl4DIPU the file only downloads a 0kb file

Size of the video is not accurate

Sometimes video with 360p quality has more size than 720p, even after it start downloading, the size changed.

The website and api doesn't work anymore. It generates a 404 error.

Hi, I am totally confused.
So, I want to know if I can just have a API where on my website there is a text box then the person pastes a YouTube link then it is passed along as a link like if I paste in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4MWWGJzapM then it outputs a link like this: https://{URL}/{MP4 NAME}.mp4

I have good internet, and try to use this on my application, and load my webview with this, the button shown up, but when i clicked on the download button, it takes an hour to respond and start downloading.

I made a simple little SWEP (Scripted weapon) in gmod that uses this API to play music. This works on my local server, but on a dedicated server that is based in dallas texas. The music wont play and when I try the link it says the download token is invalid. Just wondering if there is a work around this.

Button API doesn't work (sandbox error, but it's not in sandbox)

The Button API's don't seem to work, and always return the sandbox mode error, despite not being in sandbox mode.

They even fail on your own domain..

Is this legal?

Is it legal to download video or mp3 files from YouTube using your API?
Otherwise I won't use it on my personal desktop app. But I don't see anything on the README file talking about this.

I woud like to download some songs to hear offline. I was thinking on using youtube dl, but my friend said it was illegal to use it, so I gave up.

I have one problem i'm trying to add this api in my Alexa Skill to listen Youtube Music from an alexa device but there is a problem with the token because the Amazon AWS Server ask the download link (With one IP) and Alexa (with another IP) use this link.
There is a way to remove this limitation? Or how can i make my API and remove this limitation i my API?

So it seems you make an interface for your API, not direct access to the API itself, yes?

I'm looking for a way to provide a video url or video id and get back directly a mp3 file url, rather than an html page with download buttons. Is that possible?
