matterdatabase's Issues

Suggest including (Announced) in product title, not as a tooltip on RHS icon

The tool tip for announced is an 'x' icon. This can be misleading or at least a bit confusing. I suggest that for announced but unreleased products, you put it right in the product name.

It may also be beneficial to distinguish between

1. Products that have been announced but not released
2. Product upgrades that have been announced but not released

[Suggestion] Set policy for prefered links

Thanks for making this repo.

I'd like to suggest making a policy that covers the following items:

1. Are affiliate links allowed/banned/encouraged/discouraged?

Personally I'd rather see people not profiting off of this database.
By clarifying the policy on affiliate links in a README, it will provide transparency to users.

2. Are country specific links encouraged/discouraged?

For example, govee/shelly have specific stores for the USA/Europe/ect....

Do you want users to assume USA?
Ideally there should be a way to provide links to all countries and 'tag' them so users can filter based on country. (See tasmota database for an example )

Is this repo still maintained ?

Ecobee thermostat is not matter compatible

As far as I can tell, no ecobee thermostat is matter compatible at the moment.
