  • Ruby 2.2.3

  • System dependencies

  • Configuration bundle install

  • Database creation with postgres running rake db:create, rake db:migrate

  • Services (job queues, cache servers, search engines, etc.) rake update_all_entries, locally updates blog entries

  • Designed to provide an easy interface for the morning routine.

*Weather and local train status is fetched by user IP

*Users can create to do items, and cross off/remove as necessary

*users can add rss feeds, that are auto-parsed, and returned as a list of recent articles, clicking on one opens a text-only version.

*Feedjira and Nokogiri are used to parse RSS, HTML and XML files for the Weather, Train and RSS Feeds.
