Chrome and Firefox are blocking the map by default.

I'd consider making the text block in the top-right corner of the map (div.info) a little less transparent.

The background is bleeding through a lot and it's sometimes a bit hard to read.

Changing the alpha value from 0.8 to 0.9 seems to resolve this.

When selecting another category or moving to another district, the existing map markers should be cleared.

It would be good if you could get details of an incident by either hovering over or clicking on a map marker.

I suggest a page title: "311 vs 10-ONE District Map"

"Open311" refers to a particular API, which isn't being used in this demo. I'd recommend calling it just "311".

"10-ONE" is the branding that the city uses for the new council district map.
