get2learnthis's Issues

[KnowledgeBase]: Adding a section for learning golang

What is the topic, opinion, or issue you want to talk about?

Why

When starting to learn golang, I connected with other learners and experienced GO developers. I want to preserve the outcome of this process as a good source for other learners.

What?

Add a Markdown formatted section to the project, that contains the information to the topic.

How?

Create a file called golang.md

Log outputs, screenshots, questions?

This form of content as a section of markdown in the repository might change in the future. Keeping it in Markdown should not prevent a seamless migration to another system or platform.

How to contact you

Documentation update - contributing.md with new branch protection on main branch

What is the topic, opinion, or issue you want to talk about?

The following changes were made:

  • Added branch protection to main branch
  • Created a branch development
  • @ MarkusEicher is the code owner for the repository

What we need to do:

  • Documenting the settings of the branch protection rule and their impact on the merge process
  • Documenting the change to contribute to the development branch and not to the main branch
  • Documenting the workflow for review and approval with the above settings in mind

Define and discuss a security strategy for this project

What is the topic, opinion, or issue you want to talk about?

Why?

As a community driven project, this needs to be secure. We want to have a solid security foundation to protect the project and all our contributors.

What?

This is a task for an experienced GitHub user. We need a secuity review and a concept for CodeScanning and DependaBot. We should keep in mind, that we are looking for alternatives to GitHub that are decentralized. It would therefore be nice to have an overall security strategy.

How?

To be discussed. First step could be the change of the text of security.md

[KnowledgeBase]: Adding a section for learning HTML

What is the topic, opinion, or issue you want to talk about?

What is the topic, opinion, or issue you want to talk about?

Why

When starting to learn HTML, I connected with other learners and experienced web developers. I want to preserve the outcome of this process as a good source for other learners. I hope that many fellow learners and experienced professionals will help to improve this project with their own stories and contributions.

What?

Add a Markdown formatted section to the project, that contains the information to the HTML topic. Starting to collect such information in a markdown file as a foundation for further development. We can easily transfer this content to any other platform we chose, if we do so. An example of content to integrate in the KnowledgeBase is the file seo-metatags.html in the assets folder of this repository. It contains still to be reviewed comments in an HTML file that can be helpful for beginners.

How?

Create a file called HTML.md
