The XEP-0384 0.3.0 does not specify the "IV" value and the 0.3.1 version has been missing before the 0.4.0 version.
All OMEMO 0.3.0 clients must send with 12-byte instead 16-byte IV.

This issues is solved in #8.

Hi,

I just tried to set this up with Pidgin and got to the point where everything should work. I edited the sqlite db fields and trusted the contact's device. But now sending still fails with a message that sounds like it's not trusting itself:

(13:09:29) core-mancho-omemo: Preparation for encryption failed. Not sent

I also can't receive messages, because apparently my contact isn't including my device ID in their bundle:

I'm not sure if the two are connected. I do see this message before the errror, indicating that my device ID was published:
