License question

Just wondering if you did already choose a license for your app? Without a license, it's "all rights reserved". Maybe you can pick a fitting license? SPDX lists some and links to details. For true FOSS, please pick one that's approved by OSI/FSF. Thanks in advance!

Feature Request:- an tab in notification bar to open it from there.

Local Encryption

Hello! I saw your post on reddit and I'm here to throw out some suggestions. One of which is encryption. Your notes and journal should be private and away from any snoopers and so encryption is the ideal solution. You can see Standard Notes for inspiration on this part. A notes app is definitely a must, so thank you for your efforts and I hope for you the best in this project and future ones.

[Fearure Request] Search for string within all available notes heading and inside the note

[Bug Report] D note shows start of note being edited instead of current cursor and opening keyboard after app is put in multitask background and then coming back to app.

D note shows start of note being edited instead of current cursor position and keyboard being opened after app is put in multitask background and then coming back to app.

Lets say I opened D note app and start start editing some note , then pressed home button in android and open firefox browser . In firefox I copy text from website and paste it in D note app in the note being edited .
But I observe instead of showing current cursor position, so that I can easily paste the copied text , it shows start of app.
Yeah , I know I can scroll down toward the cursor position. And strangely screen shows current cursor position with single swap. But if I have to copy text multiple times from other apps and paste it D note app , then it just increase the steps taken to perform simple task.
I hope if if I use multitask button in android and goto another app and then come back to D note app while a note is being edited, it should show current cursor postion and as well as open KEYBOARD automatically.

Any plans on adding Material You?

Markdown + attaching images

Markdown is a great feature that makes writing more convenient and less of a hassle. As well as the ability to insert images would be great.

I don't know your capabilities, so do with that as you will. Again, thank you.

Dark mode support

I am glad that you added support for material you

But its in the light mode

Would be better if it switches to dark mode when dark mode of the system is enabled

Or support system dark mode etc
