Resistor Mastery

Resistor Mastery is an interactive web application designed to help electronics enthusiasts, students, and professionals improve their skills in interpreting resistor color codes.

Features

Setup

  1. Clone this repository:

    git clone https://github.com/mahamadfaizpatel/resistorMastery.git
    
  2. Navigate to the project directory:

    cd resistorMastery
    
  3. Open index.html in your web browser to run the application locally.

Deployment

This project is already deployed using GitHub Pages. If you fork this repository, you can use GitHub Pages to deploy your own version:

  1. Go to your repository settings
  2. Navigate to the "Pages" section
  3. Select the branch you want to deploy (usually main or master)
  4. Set the folder to /root
  5. Save your changes

Your site will be published at https://yourusername.github.io/resistorMastery/

Usage

  1. Visit the Resistor Mastery web app
  2. Select a mode (Practice, Timed, or Challenge) using the buttons at the top.
  3. Observe the resistor display and interpret the color code.
  4. Enter your answer in ohms in the input field.
  5. Click "Submit" to check your answer.
  6. Receive feedback and see your score update.

In Timed mode, try to answer as many as possible within 60 seconds. In Challenge mode, the difficulty increases with each correct answer.
