It would be useful to have a generic trash command that can be used on any OS to move files to the trash.

Remember directory history in a way the history is shared among shell processes. This should be orthogonal to the directory stack which is local to the current shell process.

When git-populate-submodules is used in the following conditions, recursion might not be working as expected:

• The script name ($0) is a relative path.
• The working directory ($PWD) is not the top directory of the repository working tree.

Maybe vimless mappings should be "nowait."

I find GLVS to be obsolete. Use Git where possible.

SSH 先でさらに別のホストに SSH した直後にシェルを抜けると、ControlMaster オプションで起動したバックグラウンドの SSH プロセスが $SSH_AUTH_SOCK への接続を掴んでゐて直ぐに SSH 接続が切断しない。待たされない様にするために、シェルを抜けるときにバックグラウンドの SSH プロセスを終了させるとよいはず。

In the shell script below, the do keyword is wrongly indicated as an error.

chmod go-w ~ breaks permission if used on a system where the home directory is owned by the system rather than the user (like Cygwin).

• ~/local
• ~/.local
• ~/.config

This option may replace the ssh-add invocation in .profile.
