keybindings's Issues

It doesn't work system-wide

❯ cat /etc/lsb-release
DISTRIB_ID=LinuxMint
DISTRIB_RELEASE=19
DISTRIB_CODENAME=tara
DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Linux Mint 19 Tara"

When I press caps-lock and i,j,k,l in menu it just print ijkl, but I want it to move cursor. I am using autokey.

Caps + Ctrl +IJKL doesn't work Windows Autokey

Looking to use it in excel, where control left will go all the way to the left, not just one cell. Similarly, would sincerely appreciate adding a control page up to caps + y

Thanks so much

Caps-Lock/Hyper key in KDE Plasma

I'm trying to use the AutoKey solution for linux on KDE Plasma. I change the behaviour of caps-lock to hyper from the settings. But unfortunately it acts as super key and opens the app menu when i click on caps lock. Is there any solution for KDE how to unlink hyper from super or just how to make it work in general ?

Arrow Keys with GUI navigation

So on ubuntu I can use tab with arrow keys to navigate gnome's GUI elements and window manager, but the caps lock plus jkli keys don't function as arrows keys when trying to do this. i.e. tab with regular arrow keys works but tab plus capslock + jkli doesn't. Any ideas on how to fix this? I assume gnome keybindings are somehow taking a priority or something.

Thanks for the otherwise great config files! I'm a huge vim guy and having vim functionality within terminator was a must.

for reference this is what I am following:

Issue with caps lock

First, thanks for this a lot! I find it really useful. I found a problem with using the windows version (im using ijkl.ahk and pgUpPgDown.ahk scripts - i just double click on them to run them). The issue with PageUp/PageDown is that capslock stays on after pressing caps+y/h and then to turn off caps locks, I have to again press caps+y/h. Is there a way to fix it?

Ctrl + backspace doesnt'work

While implementing linux autokey I noticed that ctrl + backspace didn't work until I delete corresponding phrase, which for some reason overrides native ctrl + backspace.
Also wanna mention seemingly useless delete.py file in autokey dir
