The Exercise

Use GitHub REST API v3 to create a simple application that allows users to type the name of the GitHub user and presents the following information:

  • User name
  • User description
  • User avatar
  • Up to 3 links to most popular (by stars) user repositories

ToDo:

  • Webpack
  • TypeScript

  • TSLint / Eslint
  • Jest + Enzyme
  • Cypress?
  • Sass + Sasslint
  • Travis?
  • Check https://developer.github.com/v3/
  • Print data from GitHub API
  • Loading indicator
  • Error Handler
  • Validation user name

Improvments

  • Add debounce on click
  • Offline mode / Cache ?
  • IndexedDB?
  • Change to Redux - in on "redux" branch - has problem. Fix probably downgrade react. Make this task as last.

Run

Just run yarn install && yarn webpack and open index.html file
