I frequently split my buffers to view one section of a file while editing another. If I try to use buffer-move to swap the contents of two windows visiting the same buffer, position information for one of them is lost - both windows end up looking at the same point in the buffer, and my previous views are lost.

The merge ripped off the dedicated window and minibuffer checking. My windows are swapping crazily again. Could you revert it?.

It would be great if the version of buffer-move was updated on http://marmalade-repo.org and/or http://melpa-stable.milkbox.net, http://melpa.milkbox.net.

I use both windmove and framemove (http://melpa.org/#/framemove) to move around my open windows and frames. buffer-move does not let me move buffers across frames.

Currently, buffers moved from one window to another remain in the first window's history. This means that cycling through that window's buffers will bring the moved buffer back. It would be nice if buffer-move could filter window's prev-buffers/next-buffers lists (using {get,set}-window-{prev,next}-buffers).

I used your key definitions for moving the windows . For example, is not defined unless it is changed to lower case for S, . I don't know why but if someone needs to figure out what it is wrong, he tries to change "S" (super) to "s".

Windows 10, Emacs 25.1

After install from Melpa and set in my init.el

(require 'buffer-move)

I restart Emacs and get error:

Symbol's value as variable is void: closed

When I evaluate

(require 'buffer-move)

I get error:
