snappy's Issues

controls in small and not-tall videos

controls in small and not-tall videos is placed at a third of the vertical size of the video, but the controls size is based on the width. so not-tall videos have very wide/big controls but very little vertical space, so some of the controls fall out of the screen.

invalid option -h

snappy -h or snappy --help
don't work

they both say invalid options and then show some gstreamer options

closing clean up

clean up everything after the main loop is finished. And some place to run stuff
before the main loop quits, e.g. enabling the screensaver again via DBus
probably requires a running mainloop

Subtitiles

Hi, all!

Is it the official Snappy repo? Or just a fork?
It would be nice if snappy 1.0 could automatically load *.srt subtitles. For now I just made a python script in order to load subtitles, as long as I know just a bit little of C lang.

screensaver

screensaver isn't deactivated when in fullscreen

doesn't build in fedora, gio not linked

snappy doesn't build in fedora, it complains about gio not being linked.

gio is used in the line 298 of src/user_interface.c
src/user_interface.c:298: if (!g_file_test (icon_files[c], G_FILE_TEST_EXISTS))

Audio only (and audiobooks)

Currently it seems snappy behaves improperly when playing audio only files. Also interesting is the ability to play audiobooks which generally are one big file with chapters it would be nice to be able to view the chapter list (perhaps on the command line?) and skip back and forth between chapters.
