This application provides a simple web interface to convert numeric values into their word representation, specifically formatted for currency (dollars and cents).

Setup & Installation

Running Locally

1. Ensure you have Java 17 and Maven installed.
2. mvn clean package
3. mvn spring-boot:run
4. Open a browser and visit http://localhost:8080

Running with Docker

1. Build the Docker image:

docker build -t number-converter .

2. Run the application inside a Docker container:

docker run -p 8080:8080 number-converter

Testing

• Unit Testing:
• Run mvn test

CI/CD

The application uses GitHub Actions for CI/CD. On every push to the main branch:

• The application is built and tested.
• A Docker image is created and pushed to DockerHub.
