BASIL

What does Basil do?

We are solving the problem of finding recipes based off of the ingredients that you have available at home. Through Basil you will be able to input the ingredients you have at home and we will return a list of recipes that you could make with those ingredients.

Project Planning

Sprint 1

• Ability to create account and update account information
• Ability to make API call to Spoonacular
• Ability to render API results from Spoonacular
• If no results, show sad no results message

Sprint 2

• User authentication
• Store API results in database

Sprint 3

• Ability for users to save recipes and delete recipes that were saved
• Save ingredients from last search for user
• Ability to set and save dietary preferences

Sprint 4

• Ability to send recipes to email or text
• Donation button to keep website ad free
