Currently using some build variables to know where 3rd party libraries are. Should maybe setup git submodules / scripts so things get downloaded to and built in a /lib folder that we can link against more consistently / without piece meal setup.

Choose a logging library and setup a logging abstraction.

We want to be able to create Log instances with a custom prefix. spdlog seems like a good option for logging implementation.

We need a way for components to communicate with each other while remaining decoupled as much as possible.

For example, the UI might want to listen for some keyboard events.

Load and show a 3D model with animations on screen. We will be using the glTF format.

Setup OpenAL and basic audio playback (wav and ogg).

Look at options for handling input in game and integrate. We should be able to find something that can handle keyboard, mouse and controllers.
